Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome another guest post from my amazing and handsome husband, Mr. Yonkaholic himself ๐

Boo-Thang doesn’t share my enthusiasm for Frog legs.
That’s okay, because this is MY guest post ๐ธ.
I don’t share my wife’s flair for culinary escapades, but occasionally I’ll throw down in someone’s kitchen.
My latest creation: Buffalow Frawg Legs.
I blame Doc Hopper from The Muppet Movie for triggering my interest in frog legs. No, I don’t feel bad for Kermit, because if he cared about the survival of frogs then he wouldn’t have hooked up with Miss Piggy.
Anyway, the last time I tried to cook frog legs (seven years ago) I didn’t cook them long enough. I also didn’t correctly batter them (apparently there’s more to battering than sprinkling bread crumbs on meat).
So this time I just baked them.
Pretty simple: Olive oil, seasoning salt, buffalo sauce and frog legs.
400 degrees for 30 minutes (although next time I’ll use vegetable oil so the kitchen doesn’t get too smoky), and ding ding ding:
When people say that frog tastes like chicken, they’re not lying.
I’d eat them more often, but 8.99/pound is a little bit much.
Have any of y’all ever tried frog legs? How do YOU cook them?
